Mrs. Sabrena Haulter, Owner and Tumbling Instructor
Sabrena began her dancing career at the age of 5 when she was enrolled into a pre-school tap class. Within three years she was competing at the regional and national level. Throughout the next several years she competed in acrobatics, jazz, musical theatre, character, lyrical and ballet. During her high school years she spent 4 years on the high schools varsity gymnastics team while at the same time assisting in dance classes at a local dance studio. At 16 she began teaching her very own classes and two years later she and her mother opened a dance studio which they ran together for 6 years. As a teacher her students have performed and competed throughout the states of Indiana, Ohio, Tennesse and Wisconsin and have received countless regional and national awards as well as overall placement awards. She also served as an overall panel judge for the National American Miss pageant system for two years. She is absolutely thrilled to open Starmaker Studio and cannot wait to make memories with the families who place their precious little ones in her care. Along with dancing, Sabrena received her bachelors degree in nursing and works as a labor and delivery nurse at Methodist hospital.

Mrs Melissa Mohler, Music & Pre-School Dance Instructor
Melissa Mohler started playing piano at the age of 5. She added singing while still in elementary school, and by the time she was in junior high she was touring the world with the Indianapolis Children's Choir. At Mooresville High School she continued with music, playing the flute in the band and singing in the Finesse and Spotlighters showchoirs. After beginning college with a scholarship in music, she took some time off to raise her family (with 6 kids!), before returning to college to become the first graduate of the new Music Technology program at IUPUI, as a vocal major, with piano and guitar study, as well. She will graduate with a masters in Elementary Education (with a music endorsement) this November. She enjoys leading worship through singing and playing keyboard at her church, and teaches elementary music, splitting between Waverly Elementary and Newby Elementary. Melissa has been teaching private music lessons for almost 10 years, and her favorite part of teaching is the look on a student's face when they master a new or difficult skill.
